I guess nobody else is going to attempt to tackle this...I will give it my best shot.

1. What are the Top Seven best things that the Bush Administration has done?

Taken the Taliban out of power in Afghanistan
Taken Saddam Hussein out of power in Iraq
Pushed his policy to get rid of the estate tax
Lowered the highest tax bracket from 38% to 33% (although it is now back up to 35%)
Roberts
Alito
Kept Gore and/or Kerry out of the White House

2. Is the Iraq War is going well?

Indeed.

3. After three years thus far, when do you think Iraq might be able to "stand up" so that America can "stand down"?

I don't see the U.S. "standing down" in Iraq for 15 to 20 more years...considering we never actually "stood down" after the Persian Gulf War.

4. For his part in the event, how would you rate the job the President did protecting New Orleans from devastation?

I don't believe that any mortal could have protected New Orleans from devastation.

5. How do you think the rebuilding of New Orleans is going?

I wish they wouldn't rebuild it...worst idea ever!

6. When Dick Cheney and the oil company and energy executives met in private to plan America's energy policy, how much of their goal was to benefit consumers?

Why do they need to benefit consumers? If consumers do not wish to purchase gas at $3 a gallon, then they should not purchase gas at $3 a gallon. Since demand and consumption has not dropped at all, if I was an oil company exec, I would try to push the price to at least $4 or $5 a gallon. Of course, since it is an industry that works within the constraint of 'perfect competition,' the oil execs are setting the prices as low as they can.

7. Do you believe in the President's call for an Era of Personal Responsibility?

YES!

8. Since Republicans control the White House, Senate and House of Representatives, how personally responsible are they for conditions in America today?

Are the conditions in America bad today??? Our poverty stricken people own luxury items...think about that.

9. Why do you think they haven't been able to find anyone who can verify that George Bush ever showed up for National Guard duty in Alabama?

Did he have a "Good Year" as recognized by the National Guard? Yes. That is all that matters.

10. Would you want Donald Rumsfeld to plan your daughter's wedding?

No. I wouldn't want anyone except my wife and daughter to plan her wedding.

11. Are you aware that no government in the history of civilization, other than the Bush Administration, has lowered taxes during a war?

Nope, however, I am glad to hear that.

12. Are you married?

Yes.

13. Do you personally feel threatened by gay marriage?

Not at all.

14. Since getting elected, do you think the President has been more a uniter or a divider?

Divider. Lincoln was a huge divider too, what is your point?

15. How do you explain the President's approval rating going from a high of 90% to the current mid-30%?

American people cannot stomach a long war, no matter how successful it is.

16. Do you like the government collecting personal data on you without a warrant?

As long as they do not use it against me in court, I have no problem.

17. How much money do you have in your bank account, stocks and investments?

Enough.

18. What's your partner's favorite sex position?

19. If you have nothing to hide, why aren't you answering?

20. Should we build a wall along the Mexican border?

No.

21. Why isn't anyone building a wall along the Canadian border?

We should, since terrorist cells have been tracked in Canada and terrorist have come to America via Canada.

22. Does that terrorist gang arrested in Canada count as a threat?

Indeed.

23. If you shot someone in the face while drinking, how fast would the police show up to arrest you?

If the person lived, and decided not to press charges, then never.

24. If Donald Rumsfeld had planned your daughter's wedding three years ago, would the guests still be there?

Huh?

25. Even if no laws are broken, do you think it's okay to reveal the name of a covert agent?

When that agent is no longer covert? Yes.

26. During your lifetime, approximately how often have you changed your mind?

999,999,999,999,999,999,994 times

27. Why shouldn't people dismiss you as a flip-flopper?

They can if they want. I tend to bring facts to the table though.

28. Where do you think the Weapons of Mass Destruction might be?

Syria, Iraq, Iran, France, Germany, UK, Palestine, India, and the U.S.

29. Where do you think Osama bin Laden might be?

It really makes no difference. He has no more impact on the people who use to follow his orders. Hitler could have lived the remainder of his life in South America...makes no difference.

30. Is it fiscally responsible to cut taxes, increase spending and create a $9 trillion federal debt?

Yes, as long as you can borrow at a lower rate than you can earn. It is called leverage.

31. Are you glad liberals passed such programs as Social Security, Medicare, the Civil Rights Act, women's suffrage, federal deposit insurance, unemployment compensation, rural electrification, child labor laws, minimum wages and the 40-hour work week?

Yes to: women's suffrage and the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
No to all the rest.

32. What are the Top Ten best things that conservatives have given to America?

Besides the highest Gross Domestic Product in the world?

33. If you were on life support, would you want a doctor you'd never met making a diagnosis about you via remote television?

Wouldn't bother me at all.

34. Do you think man-made greenhouse gases have anything at all to do with depleting the ozone layer?

In theory yes. However, there is no practical proof that such has happened.

35. If Donald Rumsfeld had planned your daughter's wedding three years ago, and guests were still there, how many factions would they now be split into?

36. How good is it that the terrorist Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi was killed?

Great, he was the head of the snake for the insurgency in Iraq.

37. Are you aware that in 2002 the Pentagon knew where al-Zarqawi was and presented three separate plans to kill him, but the Administration refused to act each time?

He was in no command position in 2002. Are you aware that the Clinton Admin. had Osama Bin Laden in their sites for 3 years...

38. Is George W. Bush the kind of guy you'd want to sit down and have a beer with?

Indeed.

39. When he started talking about being a Born Again Christian, would you want to stay or leave?

I would change the subject. Most likely to baseball.

40. Is Ray Romano the kind of guy you'd want to sit down and have a beer with?

Yes.

41. Would you want him to be President?

No. So now, I can only enjoy a beer with a certain kind of person?

42. Does the Administration have an environmental policy that benefits the environment?

Nope, it benefits capitalism. And that is fine with me.

43. Since George Bush campaigned for President strongly against nation building, in what ways are our actions
in Iraq not nation building?

Full scale war is a lot different than piece-meal operations. Read a military book.

44. What's the maximum amount of time you'd want to spend alone with Dick Cheney?

10 seconds.

45. After dismissing Saddam Hussein's old Iraqi army, was it a good idea to let them keep their rifles?

Yes.

46. Would a policy that allows torture be something that makes you proud as an American?

INDEED

47. Has the Mission been Accomplished?

There have been thousands of missions accomplished in Iraq.

48. Do you feel comforted that Dick Cheney is a heartbeat away from being President?

More comfort than I felt that Al Gore was a heartbeat away from being president from 1993-2001.

49. If Donald Rumsfeld had planned your daughter's wedding, and guests started fighting and were killed, would you expect to be allowed to view the caskets when they were returned home?

50. How glad do you think George Bush is that he's no longer active in the National Guard?

Considering that he is the Commander-in-Chief of the whole U.S. Military? Probably pretty darn glad.

By the way, next person who posts a survey, could you keep it under 50 questions? Really tough to do all the detail work of making each part bold and/or quoted on a 50 question poll...

I am not a republican, the 2 parties are too similar anymore. I am a conservative but would like to answer.

1. What are the Top Seven best things that the Bush Administration has done?
don't really have a list for this. But I would say most importantly they are fighting terrorism. not as aggressive as they should, but I guess they are doing it.

2. Is the Iraq War is going well?
It is fine, but again we should be more aggressive, people don't win wars being defensive or politically correct.

3. After three years thus far, when do you think Iraq might be able to "stand up" so that America can "stand down"?
Not sure they will ever stand up totally, the should be split into 3 countries.

4. For his part in the event, how would you rate the job the President did protecting New Orleans from devastation?
Not his job to protect a mass of land from a natural disaster. stupid question
5. How do you think the rebuilding of New Orleans is going?
Not really concerned with it.
6. When Dick Cheney and the oil company and energy executives met in private to plan America's energy policy, how much of their goal was to benefit consumers?
not sure, I was not in the meeting.

7. Do you believe in the President's call for an Era of Personal Responsibility?
100%, that is how everyone should live ther life.

8. Since Republicans control the White House, Senate and House of Representatives, how personally responsible are they for conditions in America today?
what conditions? outrageously low unemployment, booming economy WITH $3 gas, no more attacks since 09/11. I guess they are somewhat responsible.

9. Why do you think they haven't been able to find anyone who can verify that George Bush ever showed up for National Guard duty in Alabama?
It's pretty irrelevant, who is on this crucial case?

10. Would you want Donald Rumsfeld to plan your daughter's wedding?
no, just my daughter and wife.

11. Are you aware that no government in the history of civilization, other than the Bush Administration, has lowered taxes during a war?

don't care, not his problem.

15. How do you explain the President's approval rating going from a high of 90% to the current mid-30%?
don't care, most popular is not always best, every high school has the school whore, find here now and see how her life has turned out.

It has been done for decades, does not effect me. I am not a terrorist.

29. Where do you think Osama bin Laden might be?
in a dirt hut, like the rest of his brethern

30. Is it fiscally responsible to cut taxes, increase spending and create a $9 trillion federal debt?
personally I would not, this is a system wide governmental problem, eliminate giving 80 billion to Africa for AIDS along with about 1000 other insane ideas and we would be fine

31. Are you glad liberals passed such programs as Social Security, Medicare, the Civil Rights Act, women's suffrage, federal deposit insurance, unemployment compensation, rural electrification, child labor laws, minimum wages and the 40-hour work week?
only civil rights and womens sufrage. But I hate the rest and the millions of unborn babies they have allowed to be legally killed

Okay, here's my shot:

1. What are the Top Seven best things that the Bush Administration has done?

Fiscal actions to quickly end a recession and put the economy back on strong footing

Oversee disarmament of Libya

Two strong additions to Supreme Court

Liberation of Afghanistan

Protected the nation against terrorist attacks since 9/11

Promote an “ownership” society

Economic growth

2. Is the Iraq War is going well?

Not as well as I would hope but there have been many promising developments

3. After three years thus far, when do you think Iraq might be able to "stand up" so that America can "stand down"?

Not for a while but a quick withdrawal was never promised nor should it have been expected. One of the provinces was officially turned over to complete Iraqi control today.

4. For his part in the event, how would you rate the job the President did protecting New Orleans from devastation?

No-one could have done so. Irrelevant question.

5. How do you think the rebuilding of New Orleans is going?

Not sure but not sure why that is a job for republicans

6. When Dick Cheney and the oil company and energy executives met in private to plan America's energy policy, how much of their goal was to benefit consumers?

Most companies recognize that their customers must benefit for the company to exist. Do I expect them to be altruistic? No. Do I expect them to focus on long-term survival? Yes. Such survival depends on serving consumers.

7. Do you believe in the President's call for an Era of Personal Responsibility?

Most definitely.

8. Since Republicans control the White House, Senate and House of Representatives, how personally responsible are they for conditions in America today?

Control of these institutions does not equate to absolute control. That said, I would say that conditions in America are pretty damn good whether or not they were responsible.

9. Why do you think they haven't been able to find anyone who can verify that George Bush ever showed up for National Guard duty in Alabama?

Not sure how thoroughly they looked.

10. Would you want Donald Rumsfeld to plan your daughter's wedding?

Only if I was related to him or he has some hidden talent in these areas of which I’m not aware.

11. Are you aware that no government in the history of civilization, other than the Bush Administration, has lowered taxes during a war?

Got to go with the realUT on this one – didn’t know it but glad it was done. The continued faster than expected drop in the deficit suggests growing the economy can have the same effect without potentially harming the economy.

12. Are you married?

No.

13. Do you personally feel threatened by gay marriage?

No.

14. Since getting elected, do you think the President has been more a uniter or a divider?

Both. Depends on the issue. Additionally, it takes two sides to unite or divide.

15. How do you explain the President's approval rating going from a high of 90% to the current mid-30%?

No one likes war or high gas prices. I’m amazed it ever hit 90%.

16. Do you like the government collecting personal data on you without a warrant?

Like it? (who wrote these questions). It’s not a matter of like but I have no problem with the NSA actions so far.

17. How much money do you have in your bank account, stocks and investments?

If the govt. has good reason to believe I’m a terrorist, then they can have this information. They don’t broadcast it and neither will I.

18. What's your partner's favorite sex position?

All of them : )

19. If you have nothing to hide, why aren't you answering?

See 17.

20. Should we build a wall along the Mexican border?

Nope – better ways to handle the problem.

21. Why isn't anyone building a wall along the Canadian border?

See #20. Based on 22 below – attempts to control immigration along the southern border are primarily about illegal immigration as a whole rather than just terrorist threats.

22. Does that terrorist gang arrested in Canada count as a threat?

Absolutely.

23. If you shot someone in the face while drinking, how fast would the police show up to arrest you?

Depends on the circmcumstances.

24. If Donald Rumsfeld had planned your daughter's wedding three years ago, would the guests still be there?

Cute.

25. Even if no laws are broken, do you think it's okay to reveal the name of a covert agent?

Classified and covert are different things. It’s not okay to reveal the name of a covert agent.

26. During your lifetime, approximately how often have you changed your mind?

Daily

27. Why shouldn't people dismiss you as a flip-flopper?

On some important issues I do not waver.

28. Where do you think the Weapons of Mass Destruction might be?

Destroyed, Syria, Iraq.

29. Where do you think Osama bin Laden might be?

Pakistan/Afghanistan border

30. Is it fiscally responsible to cut taxes, increase spending and create a $9 trillion federal debt?

Absolutely. The tax cut shortened the duration of the recession. Economic growth since 2001 has done more to slow the growth of the debt. The spending increase has primarily been associated with homeland security, disaster relief rebuilding, Afghanistan and Iraq. Of those uses only one is really being debated.

31. Are you glad liberals passed such programs as Social Security, Medicare, the Civil Rights Act, women's suffrage, federal deposit insurance, unemployment compensation, rural electrification, child labor laws, minimum wages and the 40-hour work week?

Yes to Civil Rights (although republicans had a strong hand in that), sufferage, and federal deposit insurance. Some of the others have some good points but…

32. What are the Top Ten best things that conservatives have given to America?

Off the top of my head…

The strongest economy in the world

Record home-ownership

The best trained and equipped military in the world (security)

More reasonable taxation policies

A defense of national pride

A defeat of the Soviet Union

Ended slavery

Prevented socialized medicine

Fight to preserve the benefits of capitalism

Fight to reform the UN

33. If you were on life support, would you want a doctor you'd never met making a diagnosis about you via remote television?

Depends on how much information was available, diagnosis system, my reasons for being on life support, etc.

34. Do you think man-made greenhouse gases have anything at all to do with depleting the ozone layer?

No. That would be CFC’s. Man-made greenhouse gases probably have something to do with the climate.

35. If Donald Rumsfeld had planned your daughter's wedding three years ago, and guests were still there, how many factions would they now be split into?

The first one was cute.

36. How good is it that the terrorist Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi was killed?

A critically important development.

37. Are you aware that in 2002 the Pentagon knew where al-Zarqawi was and presented three separate plans to kill him, but the Administration refused to act each time?

Not aware of that. I’d like to see the decision matrix before I freak out about it though.

38. Is George W. Bush the kind of guy you'd want to sit down and have a beer with?

I like beer.

39. When he started talking about being a Born Again Christian, would you want to stay or leave?

Assuming he did, it would depend on the context and how long he wanted to talk about it. I’d rather be in that situation than having a cold one with Al Gore and hearing him talk about Global Warming (or anything else for that matter).

40. Is Ray Romano the kind of guy you'd want to sit down and have a beer with?

I like beer.

41. Would you want him to be President?

Believe me – I don’t want the vast majority of people I drink beer with to be president!

42. Does the Administration have an environmental policy that benefits the environment?

They have one that balances the needs of the citizens and the environment and that’s fine by me.

43. Since George Bush campaigned for President strongly against nation building, in what ways are our actions in Iraq not nation building?

They are nation building.

44. What's the maximum amount of time you'd want to spend alone with Dick Cheney?

Do I get to have beer?

45. After dismissing Saddam Hussein's old Iraqi army, was it a good idea to let them keep their rifles?

As good as any other idea.

46. Would a policy that allows torture be something that makes you proud as an American?

Proud? No. Do I believe in an absolute ban in any and all circumstances? That’s a tougher question but I’d say no.

47. Has the Mission been Accomplished?

Which mission? Many have. I think the “Mission Accomplished” event was a mistake.

48. Do you feel comforted that Dick Cheney is a heartbeat away from being President?

I think he’s certainly capable of the job.

49. If Donald Rumsfeld had planned your daughter's wedding, and guests started fighting and were killed, would you expect to be allowed to view the caskets when they were returned home?

50. How glad do you think George Bush is that he's no longer active in the National Guard?

I thought #9 said he wasn’t’ active in the guard.

I will post my comments tomorrow when I have time. *I have to work tomorrow.*

But I am sure I can sum every thing up by saying GOP $4$ LIFE!

And that all the worlds problems are caused by liberals.

5. How do you think the rebuilding of New Orleans is going?
[/b]

I wish they wouldn't rebuild it...worst idea ever!

Not kidding you at all. Nothing like rebuilding a city, that is already below sea level, and will always be at the mercy of any hurricane or flood...

Below sea level or not, Florida gets hammered every year sometimes more than once and rebuilding is never an issue. You cannot rip thousands of people out of their homes and tell them they can never come back!!!!

Just for the sake of argument.

What if it is for the general good of the U.S.?

Florida is generally not a poor state.

Use money for New Orleans in other areas.

The needs of the many out weigh the needs of the few or the one.
