Interesting, yes. But still horrible. Kind of sounds like a jackhammer-operator listening to classical on his iPod. I'm just not sure where the Masters of Metal were going with this "project." Wherever it was, it should be outlawed as strongly as the Nazi war crime experiments.

I will respectfully disagree. I love that album.

I used to think the Final Countdown was bad, till i watched Arrested Development and every time Jobe starts his magic show he would play it. So every time i hear it I get a laugh!

Rick James produced it.

from the Wikipedia:

Murphy also recorded an album in the early 1990s, entitled "Love's Alright" in which he performed in a video of the single "Whatzupwitu", alongside Michael Jackson. In 1999, the "Whatzupwitu" video, which featured Murphy and Jackson in a technicolor-like dream world, was voted as number three among the 25 worst music videos in the MTV era. He also recorded a duet with Shabba Ranks called "I Was a King", which was similarly panned. In 1992, Murphy also appeared in Michael Jackson's "Remember the Time" video alongside Magic Johnson and Iman. In 1994, he attempted to strike a deal with British A&R consultant Simon Cowell, who at the time was known for signing up Sinitta, the Power Rangers and Zig and Zag, but eventually backed down.

good list. I have to say though that 'Everybody Hurts' by REM is so much "wussier" than 'Shiny Happy People' that you can't even compare the two. I guess the people who made this list were too wussy to throw down on a song that has been repreatedly used in public service announcements for everything from hunger relief in Somalia to teen suicide prevention.

Rick James was the guy singing backup in "Party all the Time"

I've always liked "Everybody Hurts"

I guess I am just a sensitive man.

Disagree:
Make 'Em Say Uhh!!!~Master P. (A classic)
Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue!~Toby Keith (Inspiring)
Kokomo~Beach Boys (All BB's stuff is good)

The fist song that popped into my head when is said worst songs was "Barbie Girl" and it is on there. Should have had "Who Let The Dogs Out" on there as well.
