5th year of eligibility

it would not affect those players as they have exhausted all eligibility, and I am pretty sure that the 5th year rule is post covid students.
This rule is been debated for a while and with the court loss about Juco seasons not counting and why Kitselman and Pavia are able to come back for another season to their respective teams they pretty much are conceding that redshirt status will be the next domino to fall as it limits a students ability to cash in.

This rule is basically deleting redshirts, instead of 5 years for 4, you can now go 5 for 5.
I think you are correct.

That is not what was said. Play college for five years and then you go to work or nfl. Play three years college declare for draft but go undrafted and don’t sign with a team then you should be able to come back to college and play for two more years. Kind like baseball kids get drafted but goes play college ball.
Got it. I was just being facetious.

Austin Price said today that he expects the 5yr eligibility to get passed in a couple weeks and that both ZZ and Maschack may be back next year.

I’m curious if this could apply to some of our football seniors like Mays, Spraggins, Karic, Bru.

Thornton is the only one. All others this was 5th or 6th year for them
