Other than last year, you have to go back to 2006.I realize we were 8-0 this time last year, but other than that, when was the last time we were 6-2 at this point in the season? I think you have to go back to mid-2000s for the last time that happened. Big win tonight for the program moving forward.

Martinez is trash. For him to not have any corners ready behind Hadden is maddening.IF we get to 10 wins after losing all we did that would be a very good season regardless of how we got there.
9 wins is good enough considering we are still in a rebuild till Heupel has a full roster of his.
But I do hope he takes a long hard look at Martinez as a DB coach. It baffles me we couldn’t get more out of that position.
I posted on this earlier. I understand the Martinez talk. I even tend to lean towards some shakeup, however he does not set the allignment or call soft coverage. That is Banks. It works when your front 4 get pressure, however when it doesn't you get last season, and what you have seen the last two weeks. We need better LBers and S play. We need aggressive DB that can flip the hips and run. We are slow.Martinez is trash. For him to not have any corners ready behind Hadden is maddening.

I’m worried about the road game at Mizzou. We made UK’s QB look better than any game this year. Mizzou can throw the ball. If our D-line plays like yesterday, we’ll have a long day. Our secondary can’t get the job done without pressure on the QB.
LBs particularly herring, Carter, terlander are all promising young talent. DBs are a different story. When is the last time we had any good safetys?I posted on this earlier.
