Why is Ryan Day coach calling his team tough? Notre Dame is one of the softest teams in recent history. They beat up on their independent schedule every year and then get manhandled in big games...beating Notre Dame doesn't mean you are tough.

Came into this one neutral but found myself pulling heavily for ND by the end. Hate that OSU snuck it out at the very end like that, but the Irish had their chances. Clutch sack by JT though, and McCord made some decent plays. I thought he showed his butt a little at the end for someone who’s as mediocre as he is.

Nobody is really lighting it up this year--maybe Oregon. Bama has not been impressive, OSU struggled tonight and should have been beaten.
Clemson has lost 2. Maybe georgia--but they've lost a ton of talent over the last couple of years and cannot be as good as they were last year.

Good thing Georgia doesn’t have to play last year’s team. At the end of the year, if they win another championship, that’s all most people will remember. Not saying the competition isn’t down, or maybe things are more equal, but it is what it is. You can only play the competition available.
