Win or lose, I’m very Impressed with Mel Tucker’s spirit & focus on the sideline. Team is very well coached and he kept his kids in the game when it began to slip away, down 16 late in 3rd Qtr.

I don’t see him leaving MSU unless it’s for OSU; he’s a rust belt/B1G guy through and through and is paid handsomely for it. He makes $5.5M and gets an annual retention bonus of $400k if he’s there in February so de facto he makes $6M. He has bolted back to the upper Midwest every chance he’s gotten.

Mich st. has stated out loud they will match to keep him. LSU will have to bring it.
