and anyone think stanford kept the field in bad condition to try to slow down oregon? if so, it didn't work at all

And if OU smokes the #2 overall team in the country?

then bama will be at 2 and we may get that rematch, but I still think oregon and arky should be ahead of oklahoma even if that happens, texas tech has been abysmal since that game...jmo though, I'm nobody

Oregon has to jump in the polls. Alabama barely dropped at all and they have both lost only to the same team. Oregon also has the inside track to winning their conference. Alabama does not. Barring an insane comeback.

Luck has been far from perfect, but his receivers have really let him down (and Stanford coughs up the kickoff to the Ducks as I type this, so let's just say his whole team has let him down).

They still lost to a bad Texas Tech team. And OK don't have to play a conference championship game like everybody else.

But they'd still win their conference and beat the number 2was team in thr process... way more deserving than bama. Sidenote I agree with milo lucks team him down big time.

This is a testament to how easy Stanford's schedule was. The only conference that should get an automatic BCS bid is the SEC.

how does a team who lost pretty soundly to texas tech deserve to be ahead of bama who lost in OT by a fg?

IF they win out they would have beaten the number 2 team and won the conference championship... that's better than not even winning your side of the conference.

I'm with you on winning the conference, but....hell there is no buts, BCS sucks

Deanthony Thomas is way too cocky. "I wouldn't want to play us", "We scored more than Bama did against LSU(they also lost by more than Bama did) so we should play in the championship", "Stanford can't beat us straight up". I'm really close to pulling for USC against Oregon next week
