1. Our 2014 class will be juniors..

2. We will have the most talent on our team since forever

3. Butch and this staff will be comfortable and the foundation will be laid

4. We get to play in the biggest football game ever played (Battle @ Bristol) By the way you all better be there.

5. Our 2015 class will be sophmores..this class will be really talented as well.. we already have gotten off to a great start.

6. Butch has proved that he can develop players with what he is doing with Dooleys players, so just wait till he gets all these studs to work with.

7. "We gon whip dey ass!"

So get ready Vol fans, back this team because Butch will get us to 7 sooner then people think. Everyone come out this weekend and watch us upset USC jr. :hi:

The sad thing is that when I mis-read the title to think the poster was excitedly predicting we'd win 7 games by 2016, I wasn't completely shocked.

Volnation: always setting the bar a little lower with each passing year

I don't think it has to do so much with that. After what you read on here sometimes, somebody starting a thread about 7 wins 3 years from now wouldn't be very surprising. Nothing against you, OP. :peace2:

it took 47 years to get from 5 to 6. the SEC is now harder to win in than anytime in its history. I think we get to 7 sometime but not sure its possible while I'm alive. it will take a year where breaks all go our way as is typically the case for all National Champions..

I sure hope you are right..

We have only won 3 National Titles (Just 1 in the modern era)! 1938, 1950 and 1998. The other 3 that we claim don't count because we lost our bowl game that year. Kinda like saying we're super bowl champs but didn't win the super bowl!

Why don't they count? The bowl games were exhibitions and a chance to play players for the next season. Those were not championship games.

1) 1951 is usually recognized
2) bowl games didn't count
