Don't know, but apparently he was only at Texas 2 years longer with the "Head coach in waiting" designation (it was announced late in 2008; he was hired by UF in late 2010)...it might not really be that great of a means towards keeping a coordinator in place/at a school (at least terribly long term), especially if they're going to be offered HC positions by other schools in the meantime.

The weird points on the board early I think were too much with our defense and Lattimore not healthy. Add in Shaw not able to get any rhythm and that's a tall order to get back in it.

I was expecting to lose yesterday, but I wasn't expecting to completely shyt the bed and get embarrassed. I felt like that if we didn't do anything stupid that we would be in the game in the 4th quarter. However, we made it abundantly clear right out the gate that we had no desire of going to Atlanta. Add in the fact, like you said, that Shaw couldn't find rhythm and we had some guys banged up, and you have a shyt storm ready to erupt. Good luck against Bama (I'm saying this because I expect you all to beat Georgia next week).
