You have to love how this is spun. The ones who passed this can say they worked to help stop the illegal alien inflow but what they're forgetting to mention is that this ONLY authorizes it and does not supply funding for it. So basically it has been approved but not funded.

I approve of buying a $1 million mansion but since I have no funds for this I can at least say I tried right?

yet another good reason to not vote for any GOP incumbent. they've become like the democrats, another party of good intentions, results be damned.

things like this make me glad Frist is leaving the senate, his limp wristed leadership has been an embarrassment.

I say build the damn thing. And then let the guard or active duty patrol it. I would gladly spend one of my months that I am not deplyed to OIF/OEF to patrol the border. We can fly search orbits and call in the locations of the intruders. Better yet lets mod some more herks into gunships, and light their way after they tresspass on American soil.

Oh by the way since you are all against this thing, what do you propose?

We have now reached a new low. If that is what passes for leadership in America, we might want to invest in some new leaders.

Are you for pander legislation that does nothing of substance? Do you like your leaders passing something to dupe people into thinking they care and are doing something but yet fail to even fund it? I think being against pandering and pointless legislation is a sign of educated voters....

First, if a fence was going to be built, it needs to be built across the entire length of the border. People that are migrating from Central Mexico and further south are not going to mind changing course by a few hundred miles to cross at an area that is not fenced.

Next, if you are going to vote for something, also allocate the funds. Without doing so, it is nothing but blatant political pandering.

Finally, there is absolutely no reason to fence off our borders. There is a much more cost efficient answer to illegal immigration: get rid of the Federal Minimum Wage!

Well when you have thousands of Far Eastern illegals pouring in through ports and Eastern Europeans coming in through the opposite side's ports....a little fence does little good.

something about tonight......i guess i shouldve stated about our debt to the saudis before i mention a joke about it, but beings since we have so many einstiens here i thought they wouldve know that
