They beat us 50-17 two years in a row. Were we crying then? I don’t think so

Yes, yes we were. Our tears were more of the overall situation we were in then though- crap coaches, listless AD, etc etc etc.

I said in another post that for 10-12 years, anybody who could ran up the score on us. Nobody threw us a pity party. All we heard is poor old Tennessee will never be back.

Worm has turned a bit now hasn't it?

Good point. Our tears were about the state of the program and not scores against us.

Yup. Kind of like in high school. Maybe you had a guy that some picked on, etc. Was small and weak. Then over one summer he grew up and showed back up in the fall standing 6'2" and absolutely cut. Absolute unit.

When the former bullies start getting whaled on, their tears are glorious.
