The steelers have him and 1 other NT on the 53 man roster and also cut 2 other NT to get to the 53 man roster. Teams don't take that kind of risk for a project.

Yeah, they expect him to work hard. They'll be disappointed. I bet he worked hard to make the team. He worked hard in practice here. Did no good when he took plays off.

Who wrote the article? Randomly mention someone named Brown?

Anyway, this guy is pudding. Terrible frame. Probably has some sort of growth issue. Bless his heart, but he'll never play D1 ball.

Whatever, dude. We'll agree to disagree on this one.
Hey you are the one who brought him up. He was drafted on size and potential alone, sure wasnt production. Happens ALL the time. If you dont think NFL teams ever draft on potential you arent paying much attention. I hope he flips the switch, starts playing hard and has a long and wonderful pro career, but that wasnt the case at UT. If you think he played well here you really didnt key on him. A man that size would have likely been drafted in the first two rounds if he was productive in college and healthy.

Actually, someone else brought him up. I just gave my 2 cents.

Yeah my bad on that.
Got me thinkin bout NFL teams drafting on potential. The worst that comes to my mind is the Titans drafting Chris Henry early in the second round because he ran a sub 4.4 forty. Pretty sure the dude had less than 1000 yards rushing in his college career and his best year was something like 600 yards.

That's the OT we need this year. Would make a nice DT/DE too. It would be real hard to pass over him or kick an XP without backing up another 10 yards.

He doesn't even have good arms yet. Wait til Tennessee (yeah baby) gets him in the S&C program!

If he were an OT, it would take Striker two extra seconds to go around him...even if he didn't block him.

I'd recruit him as a tight end and tell him to run down field eleven yards every play and throw the ball high.

Will not be a legitimate dt
He takes all afternoon to come out of his stance. At his size, even double-teamed, he should be rag-dolling those small OL. All he has to do is fire off the ball and attack just one of them. 2nd blocker won't matter if the other is getting laid flat.

McCullers was a lot better than this kid, but he had some of the same problems. Not as much effort as one would expect and slow off the line.

Wow, if those videos were HIGHLIGHTS, he hasn't done much.

Is his 7.0 40 time in seconds or minutes?
I wonder if they used a Laser for that time?

That was the funniest highlight video I have EVER seen! And to think that those were the highlights. Seriously, this was some kind of spoof, wasn't it?

I hope this kid isn't googling himself and seeing these comments.

...but come on he was literally crawling on his hands and knees through the line..:thud:

McCullers is the #2 NT for the Steelers. It amazes me how some of you guys always talk about him like he isn't any good. I think it's because some of you expected him to be John Henderson on steroids or something.

He wasn't very good at UT. Here's hoping that he flipped the switch after the draft and that he has a great NFL career.

That is one of the saddest "highlight" films I have seen! He literally made NO impact on any of those plays.
