Reading comprehension is hard!! Let me explain it in easier terms...... the posters in here who think with reason and logic thought we would go 9-3 or 8-4. The ones calling for Nico to be benched or coaches to be fired are the ones who do not use sane logical thought. Those are the ones who got caught up in unreal expectations and get upset if we don't go undefeated every year.

Says nothing about agreeing or disagreeing, nor does it say anything about loser mentality......

I had us at 9-3 preseason, with losses to UGA, Bama, and one of Oklahoma/Florida.

Losing always sucks, but how we lost is more troubling. We laid an egg, and aside from a brief spark in the 3rd quarter, got straight outcoached and outplayed. Two weeks to prep, and that was the plan?

It isn't unreasonable, given what we have seen, to not only question our chances against Bama and UGA, but Florida, Kentucky, and Vandy as well. I don't think we'll go 6-6, but it isn't absurd to be concerned.

I’m a realistic optimist. We really should beat Florida. In fact, in a loud night game at Neyland…we should beat them comfortably. Unless “gatoritis” kicks in.

Fans are frustrated because this game was very winnable and was lost due to predictable play calling, poor game preparation . Pretty much like the games we lose to Florida each year, and Georgia/Bama. Ark was not even ranked, playing so badly their coach is on the hot seat, and playing with a back up qb. No excuse to lose that game.

If we don't take the training wheels off this offense and improve in pretty much every area we're going 8-4 at best

I said 10-2 or 11-1 with the qualifier as, if Nico was playing like and in the Heisman conversation but he's more of a 3- or 4-year college player it looks like JMO. College football is a QB driven league, and he is going to be good to great but his decision making is just not there yet, some can come in as Freshman and have IT factor and some are more of progress as you go, he is a middle of the road SEC QB this year but he still young.

Yeah, not end of world, and Miz getting thrashed, while Bama lost makes it not hurt as bad. However, there's some teams like KY and Vandy looking much better than expected. Still not really sold on W's vs Bama or UGA, so even 8-4 isn't going to be a walk in the park.

If you want to neutralize Florida, feed your RBs early and often. Design some runs for Nico to get his courage back, and we’ll cruise to a W.
