Alton, the younger guys are learning the playbook and able to come in and give the primary receivers a break! That helps the team overall. AJ, the younger players won't be affected by the crowd noise at Oklahoma. They have heard it all in practice.

I was really hoping somebody would have asked CBJ his opinion on our slow-developing running plays and if he feels they are being executed as expected.

What's so crazy about that? They're 18 years old - not everyone takes elaborate family vacations and whatnot.

You would think that a lot of these kids would have flown for their college visits...And also I was really speaking to the youth life experience aspect of the statement which he reiterated by saying "We are in the infant stages of our program"

True - didn't even think about that one. Of course a lot of our players are from Tennessee so maybe they only visited schools in the area (driving distance) or simply just committed to UT. Not sure on that one.

I love the positivity that Jones exudes - a stark contrast to his predecessor.

Good choice not mentioning any names. :)

Here's the video if anyone missed it and wants to watch.

What were the Virginia Tech guys thinking last Saturday? Beat Ohio State? Ha! A key factor is whether or not the Sooners are sold on their vast superiority over the Vols. If they are, then an upset is a distinct possibility for a fast moving, motivated group of 1st time flyers. Maybe he's saving some of his best stuff for UGA and floor-duh, but even if he is, you've gotta' figure Butch's got a rabbit or two in his hat for the boomers. I'm hoping for a win but expecting otherwise. Who's going to be upset this weekend? I'm hoping its another team whose state starts with an "O.":gone:
