#9 Baylor @ #21 BYU

What was shaping up as one of the best contests of this weekend has suddenly turned gloomy for BYU. Maybe Mitt Romney can suit up for the Cougars. He's fully capable of losing seemingly winnable contests. Baylor Romney transferred out at the end of last season.

Good thing they didn’t need them

You're somehow the one embarrassing yourself tangling with Ricky, which I genuinely thought was impossible.
Ricky's low hanging fruit. He's a clown in every thread he posts in. It's fun messing with him/her just to see how far off the deep end he/she will go. Everybody enjoys a good train wreck. 👍

I wouldn't lump Baylor's coach in with that group. BYU was #21. Did they look like a #21 team? I don't know but they were down their top 2 WR. Baylor definitely didn't look like #9 though I'm sure Provo is probably a tough place to play.
I agree. Between A&M and ND, which was the bigger upset?

Amazing how one penalty had such a huge impact. The 3rd down holding cost them the game unfortunately.

I'm going to go with ND. Freeman has had them looking solid fundamentally in the two games since he took over. It's a small sample size but it was against two solid teams.

I haven't been impressed with Texas A&M. They are still getting residual love from the Alabama win last year.

ND looked surprisingly solid against Ohio State. A&M looked bad against poor competition in week 1 and Appy State is usually pretty solid. I was definitely more surprised to see ND drop one against marshall.

I may be in the minority, but I find putting alumni in the booth to call games to be lowbrow. Have him come up for a segment, ok, but having him homer his way through a whole game is just annoying.
In fairness RG is used to seeing his teams lose games

I hate it when they get guys who are just a star. RGIII is possibly the worst X's and O's QB of all time. A scout said he only checked down to a WR like 4x in his entire college career. It was either hit the first read, dump to a RB, or scramble. That dude's gonna break down the game for us?

I am sure he has no problem breaking down from a commentator perspective. His ability to process during a game is far different

Midmajors don't win Sugar Bowls. Midmajors go to the Music City Bowl.
We've won plenty of sugar bowls. Your irrelevant program no one cares about. You guys keep pretending to be a religious university, while treating people like shat, is your thing. I have less respect for Baylor folks then Penn State. They had one massive cover up one time. You all are cover up city. Easily the most consistently reprehensible university ever. And you aren't even that successful
