Why would the SEC be limited to a number of only 4 spots though?
The ACC and Big 12 are pretty much only getting one each, the Group of 5 is only getting one. The SEC and Big 10 champs are also getting one.
Who all are you convinced will be getting most of those other spots so that the committee only gives the SEC 3 of the remaining 7 spots?
A 16 Team playoff would have been easier for all concern with all teams playing 4 games.ACC will get in Miami and Clemson unless the bottom falls out.
SEC and B10 will get 4 each.
The G5 "champion" and one from the B12

Need ND to drop another game or two or they will take one of the SEC/B10 spots even with that horrific NIU loss.
