_Vols in NC...get out and vote!!! Need your help. MAY 8

I hope one day I live in a country where someone doesnt have to move to have civil and religious liberty

what if MLK had just moved to New York?

MLK did something about it, he put his a$$ on the line and started a movement for change. He just didn't sit around on a message board and question the IQ of the voters, blame a religious group and be a general bi!ch.

He was a man that sacrificed for what he believed in.

wtf

So your whole argument is going to be based on a supposed conundrum?

If you all are going to whine about states putting in laws, I was just curious where it stops. If the same people crying about the people of NC not allowing gays to marry in their state would stand in the way of a dad and daughter who really love each other to marry. If you all were ok with a 16 not being allowed to buy a pack of cigs. Or a 16 year girl who consents to a sexual relationship with say a 50 year old should not be allowed. Who are you all to stand in their way?

What I cant fathom is how you dont understand the argument.

No. As long as both parties have the capacity to consent, they can choose whatever they so please.

I don't know the statistics, but if procreating with a first cousin produces a substantially higher risk of genetic disorder for your children, do you still believe it should be legal?

I do. The "substantially higher risk" of passing on disorders is only 2-3% for first cousins.

is the risk greater than a woman reproducing past a certain age? Should that also be illegal?

He was a man that sacrificed for what he believed in.

So, he had to die for rights that should have granted to his race upon birth and you seem to think that it was just?

What you call a sacrifice I call a tragedy.
