Unfortunately the coaches at Carver indicate that Crowell has daily text with Richardson at Bama. Appears he is leaning their way.

Rumors aside, this is the perfect weekend for official visits. First, a recruit gets to see UT fans at their most fanatical. Second, the pitch is easy regardless of the games outcome. If we win, the goal posts go down and everyone goes crazy so the recruit is told "you want/need to be part of this" If we lose, they get the "See how much we need you" pitch. Who could resist either?

Did the person who said this to you say that there would be commitments coming, or just that it "would be a big recruiting week"? I'm only asking because he/she could be referring to the high-profile targets/recruits/commits coming to town and that it would be a big week for recruiting as a result. Even in that case, the person may not want to name names due to DDs leak policies.

On the other hand, we may land half the state of Georgia this week...just wanting to make sure there wasn't a case of the telephone game going on here.

TT, I did not want to pry too far, but the "feeling" that I have from the conversation is that the expectation is, things are actually going to happen this week/end. How those things are handled, or when and how they are revealed...I don't have a feeling one way or the other. Does that, make things as clear as mud? Again, I believe that if one was a fly on the wall(s) for the week, one might be able to look back in the future and say, yes, this indeed was a big week for recruiting purposes...

Totally true in black and white. However, this thread was originated out of a 3D expression(s)...and the "feeling" which was portrayed/received was one of most positive expectations...which I am encouraged by.

Not that I expect a ton, but you won't really hear that much until this afternoon/evening (well, at least it's that way for official visits...not really sure if the unofficials stay around until Sunday). Probably won't hear much....
