A bunch of leaders

Maybe write one article to the effect of... "Several Vols look to take on leadership role" and then list the whole team... Hahahaha

If you think you are a leader and no one is following you, then you are just going for a walk.

I like how the titles get longer as he keeps writing the articles.

I'm waiting for:

"Trae Golden learning to become a leader at the point, because we'll suck next year."

"Skylar McBee attempting to improve shooting percentage in order to become a leader at some point in his college career."

A novel concept would be an article on the leadership the coaching staff looks to instill since they are the leaders and all. I think they are anyway.

I think two things about this series of articles.

1. I think there is a Sportswriter Rule that says you have to write about leadership in the offseason.

2. On this team, the topic of leadership keeps coming up because there's really no talent to write about.

Thread is pretty hilarious. As a sub-point to #1, I'd add that players who can hardly articulate a sentence about leadership are usually "lead by example" guys.

This isn't just Griffith, though, its really media speak at large. I remember a local interview with Kiffin during his lone spring practice where they asked him three different times about identifying leaders. Every time he said he didn't care about it yet. While Kiffin pretty much always came across as pompous and indifferent in interviews, it was obvious that this answer was blowing the interviewer's mind.

He's going to lead by doing all the "little things". There's different kinds of leadership. Some will lead by sitting on the bench next season.

oh, you mean he's a "silent leader" or "lead by example"

I wish Mike would write an article about that.

WHAT A TOOL.

I like how he takes a thread mocking him and tries to turn it into fans mocking the players.

I dearly hope he isn't that dumb
