A Comparison of Bray/Jose/Broussard vs. Worley/Posey/Harris

Dude, I'm not saying he is lying, but when do you hear coaches get in front of the media and start ripping them? All I'm saying is take it for what it's worth, don't live and die by it.

And I've said it before and I'll say it again, this love affair with Nick Saban is getting a bit too much. I'm sure some of you will rip me and say "Well he's the coach we want ours to be modeled after"...blah blah blah. I don't want that, because that means he'll leave us high and dry in about 3 years. I'm tired of getting on here and most of you have a freaking hard-on for Nick Saban.

I didn't mean to make you mad bro. I agree that you can't live and die by it, but I really believe Saban meant a lot of what he said. Really though, Saban is a great coach that has had a ton of success. Thats not deniable. And if Dooley turns out to be as good as Saban and "leaves us high and dry in 3 years" then that means we are in a much better position then we are right now. We would be winning, we would have a higher talent level, and we would also have the "image" to make a great hire. JMO though.

I'm not mad, and your points are valid, I'm definitely not saying they aren't. I honestly just get tired of hearing about Nick Saban all the time. Can the guy coach? Yes, he can. Does he win? Yes, he does. But before any of us here even knew who Derek Dooley was, everyone destroyed Nick Saban and everything he was about. Now, just because we hired a guy who worked under him, we are all over his jock. Me personally, I can't stand Saban. He is a back-stabbing liar who will leave a program in a heartbeat. Since CDD is Nick Saban v.2, does he have that trait as well? He left L.A. Tech high and dry, what's to say he wouldn't do the same to us? And before any of you say, "Well this is a pretty big jump for him, we're too big to leave", Saban left LSU when he could have easily won 3 NC's. I'm just saying, it gets old.

Very valid point man. I understand what you mean. I guess I'm just trying to hope for the best.

We couldn’t be so lucky.

Not a thing wrong with that brother, I'm right there with you. I guess just the realization of how far our program has fallen is just breaking my heart.

Yeah now there is also no comparison in the character between the 2 either...

Kiffin will rack up top 3 classes yearly at USC

We will bring in top 20 classes imo

Now we will have better "people" on our team..time will tell if that pays off

Perhaps, but the NCAA may have a word or two to say about that. If USC loses scholarships or other aspects of recruiting then it might be more difficult. Besides, USC has to compete with UCLA, CAL, and Oregon much more than they used to. They will get their players, but I don't think they will get to pick and choose as much as they would like.

The meat of Kiffin's class came later in the year (if you count "silents" and "verbals"). I expect that Dooley's class will improve as the year goes on as well.

It also helps USC in the recruiting ranks that their commits automatically gain a star as soon as they commit to USC.

I'm talking about hip tossing him, throwing him around like a rag doll, pancaking him, etc. Total domination. Towards the end Stripling started backing off when the ball snapped.

I'm ok with making him a 4 star for one ridiculous performance against a highly ranked player. He probably dominates the lesser opponents even worse. He can only dominate the guys he lines up across from. Not his fault if he doesn't play more talented players.

prove to me that this is a deeper QB class.
Honestly on paper they both were not very good.

So Bray sucks? which is it? You can't have your cake and eat it too.....

I must have missed it. Where did he say anything about Bray's talent. All I read is where he's refering to the talent of the class in general.
