Is that really what you took from that?

He said he didn't think our coaches are in over their head bc they played college and pro basketball....I was being sarcastic but u can be a horrible coach and played the game.

I had the chance to go to this game yesterday and while I thought our Vols played hard, it almost seemed as if they lost confidence in themselves when UK battled back and pulled ahead.

Yeah, that 3 foul difference really ruined the game.

Open your eyes. I agree, the refs were on UK's side a little bit. But they're were plenty of missed calls both ways.

And yes, Cal does a great job of working the refs. Most of the best coaches do it really well.
We need some kind of excuse.
Couldn't possibly be the difference in talent or lack of coaching ability on our end.

Pops gave UT some good minutes against Kentucky with a hoop and a couple of rebounds.

I would start Thompson and bring Barton off the bench because Thompson is one of the best passers on the team and a solid defender.

Didn't say he was a good coach, I said he can probably make the right decision on who or who not to play solely on the fact that he's had experience in college and the NBA.

Fouls wouldn't typically be the same for each team when one team is hammering the paint and the other is taking more outside shots. Based on the style of play of this game, I would have expected UTto have take 30%-50% more FT's than KY

DT is one of the best passers on the team. But his defense is suspect at times. He doesn't have the foot speed to stay with quicker guards. IMO

Offensive attributes alone won't keep you in the game under CCM.

Unfortunately, you're correct. If we had more players to protect the rim, we could get away with having players who struggle defensively.

I didn't say that I thought the refs decided the game, just that I thought they were awful. Not sure how anyone watching that game, including UK fans, could disagree with that.
