A Few things...

Why? It would be as bad as Dooley's loss to UK.

Not saying I agree but why is it "stupid"? He has a lot more talent to work with than WKU. He should beat them handily.

...and I totally disagree with your post.

It would not be "just as bad" as Dooley's loss to UK. Bobby Petrino is a much better coach than Joker Phillips. They've got upperclassmen who have been a part of three winning teams. Antonio Andrews and Leon Allen are stud running backs. Willie Taggart did an excellent job of finding talent in Florida during his tenure there. This WKU team would've destroyed the UK team we lost to.

Btw, how the hell to do you expect to straight up out-talent a Bobby Petrino coached team when we haven't proven anything at DB yet and our LBs still look slow in coverage? If you'll remember, Austin Peay made it to our 13 yard line on their opening drive of the second quarter.

That is why I found BIG ADAM's suggestion that Butch should be fired in the event of a WKU loss to be completely ridiculous.

North should have caught those balls. Slightly behind doesn't mean uncatchable.

The one in the end zone was right in front of me. Worley placed in between 2 defenders. It was the only place he could throw it without being intercepted. I thought North could/should have caught that ball. No worries though, he's a freshman and will improve. Thought he played well.

I thought Worley was 11 for 13.

He was. And he did do a good job. But a few throws could have led to much bigger plays. For the first game as the Man, he played well. If he makes those throws, the play of the offense will really be elevated.

He was 11 of 13 against AP. But, he won't fair so well against a real team if he doesn't improve his accuracy. His receivers looked like circus acrobats trying to adjust to and catch his throws.

I was surprised we didn't see more short passes to North/Pig to try and get them the ball quick and let them make plays with their feet.

I was disappointed that most of the passes to North weren't in locations for him to make the catch and run.
