A HUGE Bright Spot

I'm joking about Dobbs but yes I was. I wanted Peterman to prove he is worse than Worley after seeing how bad Worley is. And he did. Now I just hope we will have a decent QB next year.

Honestly, I would love to see a 2 quarterback system with Ferguson and Dobbs for the South Alabama game. Just let them get acclimated together.

From Rock Hill...biased much?

I mean...yea...Worley is better than Peterman at this point but...

Yes...biased towards Tennessee football, and all the "Peterman is the godsend" and "Peterman has to be better" and "put Peterman in, can't be any worse"...Well if you watched the same game I watched. He was much worse

Peterman was scared to do anything and seemed lost. Worley is not confident in his abilities as a passer and therefore not capable of being a leader of a team.

Worley's problem is fixable through things you can do in your offense but Peterman's is psychological and therefore only correctable by him.

A question... How does a person play QB from the time he is 6 years old up till he is a Junior in college and not have confidence in his ablility to throw the football?

"Worley is not confident in his abilities as a passer and therefor not capable of being leader of a team." Is this not also a psychological problem which can only be corrected by him?

Neither guy has any confidence. Problem is Worley is a junior and has no confidence or balls enough to be a leader. That may prove to be impossible to fix.

Play against people who aren't as talented as you. When you get to a higher level where there are people actually better than you, you get scared and question your abilities instead of playing up to their level. Happens more often than you think.

I wasn't on the Peterman, Ferguson, Dobbs train. I was on the "try anything else" train. I was dead wrong. The coaching staff knew better in playing Worley up to that point. They are smart, I am stupid. Lesson learned.

I certainly hope CBJ weighs the importance of red-shirting the two freshmen QBs versus letting people see what they can do on the field. Malone (2014) says the QB will be a major factor in his commitment decision; Williams who just committed (2015) says he wants to see a QB who can feed him the ball. Neither one has seen anything promising yet.

Only a moron would think this is a good thing. Because Worley isn't good enough to beat anyone but the worst teams.

If we don't hear, and more importantly, see someone out there better than Worley, we may very well be headed to the worst season in UT history.

I don't think it gets worse than 2011 or 2012 because of the offense we had then, there clearly should have been better results. This year is different. The educated fan knew what to expect. With that said, there certainly have been things this year that should be better.

As for Worley, I think there is a very good shot of UT winning or being closer yesterday with him in. He may not be accurate but he hasn't turned the ball over much and has played in environments like that before. One thing to remember is that in my opinion, UT won't play a better defense than the last 2 they have played, and they get USC and UGA at home which may help. I don't think the sky is falling. I am encouraged by the second half resolve we saw yesterday and the fact that they get S. Alabama to hopefully get in sync before UGA, then a bye week to gear up for second half of the season.

That's the lowest bar ever. I would take any QB we've had in the last 20 years over these guys, including AJ Suggs, BJ Coleman, Joey Mathews and Ric Clausen.
