A little more info about our schedule

Before the season most people thought 6 to 7 wins would be an avg yr n 8 wins an outstanding yr.

The goal is still the same IMO Anything less than 6 this staff has underachieved in their first yr.

The schedule is the schedule n yes they r against the ranked teams its the way we have lost is what has most fans worried

I agree. I thought we could go 7-5, with 6-6 and a bowl win as the lowest level of acceptability. But our opponents have turned out better than anyone could foresee, while our gameday performance has been inconsistent. So 6-6 has turned out to be tougher than many thought, but I still think we have to get there. Sometimes, you just have to dig deep and make it happen, and that's what we have to do. The fans will show up if the team does.

With Western Kentucky becoming bowl eligible 9 teams on our schedule will be bowl eligible if Vandy and Florida get to SIX. Believe they will with Vandy having the better chance.

So it is okay that our opponents turned out better than you could forsee, but it is also okay that UT is right where they were the last 3 years?

That is convenient.

No. I said that 6-6 was the lowest acceptable alternative at the beginning of the season... and still is.

I just read an article that had some good info about our schedule. SIAP but "According to STATS LLC, Tennessee is the first team to play seven ranked teams in an eight-game stretch since Pittsburgh in 1993."

I think that says a lot. People can say what they want but for a first year HC, that's brutal. It's been 20 years since someone has had a schedule like ours this year.

Pittsburgh had more talent then than we do know.. How did they do in 1993?

I am not sure our opponents have turned out better.

I think Florida for sure, and also Georgia, are worse than we thought.

Missouri is much better and Auburn is a little better than we thought.

Missouri is much better and Auburn is a freaking whole lot better than we thought.

Had to fix that for ya.

They won zero SEC games last season. There is now talk of mass panic about the Iron Bowl amongst supporters of the red team. Define "little".

Someone started a thread about South Carolina's schedule. We'd be 6-4 if we swapped our West opponents for theirs.

How do you figure? Mississippi State played Auburn far closer than we did. It's far from a given that we would beat them. Even Arkansas would hardly be a sure win with the way we've played in the last couple of weeks.

Yes Sir I needed a lot more info on this years schedule . I mean after those #'s started popping up up in front of most of the teams on our schedule this year . I just knew after we kept having TOP10 and TOP20 opponents for the past 6-7 or so weeks . Well hell I just knew , UT , was gon WHIP DEY AZZ . @sarcasm . A few thousand of our fans need to get over their we are Tennessee attitude 's . We do not have the horses this year . Remember some of these same folks helped run off a Hall of Fame Coach .

EDIT : at no point does this make me a fan of that silly person Fanecs . You know the dude hanging on Phil's sack .
