That’s kinda what I was afraid of after the surprisingly fast turn around for this program last season. It would then become the baseline/expectation in 2024 while we continue to build it all back up.
People are going to be real upset when next year happens. What worries me the most about this staff is development of non-Pruitt players, because they're almost all gone next year. That’s kinda what I was afraid of after the surprisingly fast turn around for this program last season. Exactly. This is not a knock on Heup but we’re playing with the prior staff’s players for the most part. Hopefully the current freshmen will contribute next year and Heup can recruit ata high level while hitting the portal.People are going to be real upset when next year happens. I'm expecting another struggle season with Nico and a different OL + lots of guys on defense likely skipping their covid year.

Apparently you're supposed to skip those things and go straight to playoff contender.
Most should understand next year could be a struggle. That’s why losses like FL and Bama really hurt this year. We likely played the worst Fl and Bama we could see for a good while. We lost both. This year was our chance given our talent. It’s gonna fall off a bit more next season.People are going to be real upset when next year happens. Truthfully we are a SR loaded team but QB and WR play has killed us. Also poor secondary play at times and bad tackling hasn't helped.
that's the reason many of us fans on here are wanting to see Nico play some this year regardless of the score, outcome etc. We're shooting for a bowl anyway, why not look to next year, mix up Nico playing to relief JM. Seems like a win win to meIf it’s true Nico isn’t ready, do we take a portal QB?
