A little perspective after the Bama loss

People are going to be real upset when next year happens. What worries me the most about this staff is development of non-Pruitt players, because they're almost all gone next year.
I'm expecting another struggle season with Nico and a different OL + lots of guys on defense likely skipping their covid year.
Why do we have to all of a sudden fall off because Pruitt players are gone?? Pruitt got fired with those same players, so that should say something to the job the current staff has done with development. CJH has a 17th ranked class, followed by 11th, and a top 10 class currently in the works. As long as they keep developing players they'll be fine.

Consider this too. From 2005-2020 TN scored 37 point bs Bama in the first Q.

CJH teams in 3 years scored 42 (and won 1). We are knocking at the door.
No we're not we just took a step backwards. If we go down to #1 ranked UGA we're right back to putting teams on the field that lose to our big 3. I do not see UT being a program where we beat perhaps one of the Big 3 every 6 or 7 years. If that's where Heupel and his proponents are going to hang their hats, take 'em down I-40 somewhere.

I'm sure they'll try to get one but I think nico will be ready. I just expect him to have a tough time with potentially not as dominate of a run game
If Nicco is a better QB than Milton the run game may remain the same as defenses could not stuff the box but must be spread out.

We've seen what year 3 looks like without Cooper mays. SC has Rattler and it doesn't matter
