Interesting to look back at what was, and what wasn't.

Butch Jones knew the bar would be set high for Tennessee's 2015 signing class that ranked No. 4 nationally in the 247Sports composite.

"I understand that with this class comes great expectations and very rightfully so," Jones said at the news conference unveiling that class.

Much has changed since then. Jones was fired in 2017 and replaced by Jeremy Pruitt. Many of those 2015 signees didn't live up to their hype, and just 11 players from that 30-member contingent remain at Tennessee as seniors or juniors

Man what could have been. I hated for guys like Jack Jones. I remember when we signed Andrew Butcher, I loved his highlight tape he was an animal.

As far as disappointments go, I would still rank this class behind Kiffins 09 class and the 07 class (which really only had Berry as a success).

The ones that hurt the most were Bouleware, Picou, Griffen and Townsend

Townsend was supposed to be pretty good. But, if he was better than Trevor Daniel, then this I gotta see. Daniel was the best player on our entire team last year. Absolute beast.

Freak thanks and 33% of the class is still on the team.

Also can we delete the $h!t season of 2017 off VN and put the 2018 schedule up? I cannot stand to look at the worst season in UT history anymore.
