Yup. But no player that was implicated was ruled ineligible at the schools they transferred to.Look at this way - you can 100% be ineligible as a player if you took money from another school other than the one you enrolled at. Your eligibility isn’t dependent on your school - that’s just usually how it plays out since said school gets caught and you are enrolled there. Players eligibility is completely independent and up to the NCAA.
Nolan still could’ve been ruled ineligible at TAMU.
We should also be looking at their current commits in addition to their players on roster.According to NCAA rules, if a head coach is fired in the middle of the season, players from that team will immediately have 30-day window to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal. That's ahead of the 30-day window for the portal that opens on Dec. 4.
I'd be targeting Walter Nolen and Evan Stewart (of course everyone will, too) who have ties to the state/program moreson than any of their other bigtime players.

He is not eligible to play at UT. Even if he paid bakc the $2700 he took, he would need to pay it back and then request clearance from the NCAA. He’s not coming to UT even if he wanted to. Be to much trouble to get him eligible than what it’s worth for 1 year. He going pro after his junior year.
Would like to get his brother though in a couple years. They moved to Texas because of Jimbo. Maybe they move back to Knoxville after this year
Yea I just come up with it on my own? No, I actually seen it said he couldn’t play here. I didn’t just come up with it on my own. Also I would like to have him here if he was able to. But it is a fact that he took impermissible benefits from Pruitt. Which normally makes that athlete ineligible at that particular school. Either way he’s not coming here for 1 year.He can play here if he wants lmao you’re making up stuff. Nobody under that staff is here anymore. It’s irrelevant. lol
Even if he were eligible I doubt UT touches him if he were in all of that fiasco. It seems I remember something about it but I had forgotten he was involved in all that.View attachment 594976

I hope he would be eligible if he wanted to come back home. But he is part of 29 recruits and players that was implicated in the NCAA investigation. It’s always been if you received impermissible benefits, it made you ineligible to unless you paid it back. We have seen numerous players in the past be deemed ineligible due to taking money and once they paid it back they could play. I don’t know why it would be any different now unless I missed something. But I seen somewhere in the past where it was talked about why all those players transfer. It was said that they couldn’t play at UT beciase they took money. But it don’t make sense how they could play for someone else. But we know the NCAA makes **** up as they go. So non of it makes sense really.Even if he were eligible I doubt UT touches him if he were in all of that fiasco. In the long run, it wouldn't surprise me if it doesn't get gutted too much. The money paying their "NIL deals" is still there. Most didn't choose TAMU because of Jimbo. It will be interesting to see how much of Texas A&M's roster is gutted and how this firing affects their 2024 recruiting class.
I was surprised that Petrino was not named their interim coach.
while i understand the point you are trying to make, i do not think he would be ineligible to transfer here. i do believe he could not have signed out of high school, but i do think that would not apply to transferring. part of what leads me to believe this is that when eric gray was rumored to be thinking of transferring back here, one of the recruiting guys was asked if he could because of his role in the pruitt stuff and he said he could transfer back. i would think this would be the same situationI hope he would be eligible if he wanted to come back home.
