Not sure if serious.
That NC game is not very far out of the realm of possibility. K State loses @TCU or to Texas, ND loses to USC, and Oregon has Stanford, Oregon State, and their championship game to win. IF all that happens and Bama beats UGA in the SEC Championship then Florida sneaks in somehow, especially if they cap the season off with a big win over FSU.
Alabama has a game this weekend iirc. Just sayin. The season is far from over.
Agree 100%.
I find it laughable that some folks here are hating on McCarron.
The kid led a perfect two minute drill, with the season on the line, playing on the road at night against LSU...an LSU squad that's had this game circled since the BCS title game debacle.
Haters gonna hate....I've got nothing but respect for McCarron.

Larry, you forgot to say that Chavis put his defense in "prevent". LSU defense dominated until that happened.
As long as the SEC continues to win, it is GREAT for the current Vol Program. If they are 11th in the SEC, they are in the top 20 in the country. We just have to start beating SEC teams and we will be in good shape! Just imagine if the SEC was down... NO ONE would go to Tenn. Sorry, the truth hurts. I know it is hard, but continue to root for SEC is you want relevance for the Vols!
That last drive was that of a championship team .
I think McCarron is the best qb in the NCAA.
Your first statement is probably true. The second statement is not correct. He is a caretaker most of the time. Klein at Kansas State is asked to do way more and Matt Barkley is better, and a handful of others including Tahj Boyd and Josh Nunes which both were formerly committed to play here. AJ McCarron doesn't have to throw the ball that often and when he does the safeties are usually up to respect Bamas running attack. He has all the time in the world with all those pro linemen blocking for him.
for those saying that the sec being good helps us. I refrence you to the mid to late 90s. The sec was pretty equivalent to the b1g today in having only 2 good teams, yet we were nationally relevant. Make no mistake, our glory days were built on the haplessness of uga and lsu, and the ncaa mutilated corpse of alabama. Peyton manning doesn't make it out of louisiana today, and if he did he wouldn't make it past tuscaloosa. Mark richt doesn't let jamal lewis leave atlanta today.
