The difference is they’re playing defense which isn’t being done in the nba and a lot of the other teams who shoot a lot of three’s in the women’s game aren’t playing this style of defense either. I can see their argument but I just think this system whole similar to others is very much different. I think most games it’ll be 50/50 on which shots get taken but when the three is available… it’s gonna happen. I’m excited for SEC play to see how they perform against the top/bigger teams. And how teams handle the pressure. I see teams starting to press more already which tells me they’re trying to game plan for it now but the way they come in waves can’t be replicated. Something special is brewing in Knoxville.

It is not a stupid question. You are downplaying scoring a record number of 3s in the new HC 1st season when people wondered if she would be able to have the players capable of running her offense.
Why is it so difficult for you to answer the question?

Hitting 30 in a game setting is impressive against anybody. However, I will be more impressed if they hit 15 against South Carolina. How about you?

What does it matter if I cared if they did or didn’t accomplish this goal? It has no effect on the fact they did. It also has no effect on the fact that it was against a very bad team. This isn’t criticism or praise. It’s simply facts.

The premise of your question assumes I’d rather they not have accomplished this statistic. The question in general is stupid as I made zero assertions of whether I liked the accomplishment or not. I simply stated a fact about the opponent.

I could be misremembering, but I'm pretty sure I read a few years ago that there are four arena staffers stationed above the jumbotron at center court, and they are there monitoring wind conditions at all times to keep things fair. NOBODY wants there to be an asterisk beside a record that refers to there having been strong winds helping propel our logo threes, so since we've never seen the official "UNFAIR WIND ADVANTAGE" flag thrown, we can safely assume weather conditions inside the arena have been fair for both sides.
