A Picture's Worth a Thousand Words...

To be fair, it's not like the players hated Dooley. Tiny Richardson and many other players stood up for him on Twitter when his job was in question, and let's not forget the crowd surfing treatment and chanting of his name in the infamous post-Vanderbilt locker room video.

The same people that were splooging with every press conference that Dooley made are the same ones bashing every breath he took now. Strange and fickle fan base we have. He was gonna be the one to get it done ,like Butch, like Kiffin, before he didn't.

The thing that sticks out to me is that this picture was taken during the O&W game, at which time these guys had only really had a few weeks of one on one time with Coach Jones. Imagine when these guys have been here a year. They'll wade through hell just to fight a circle saw for him if that's what he asks of them.

And as for you, Other Guy, please feel free to go root for anyone else your little heart desires if being a Vol fan isn't all you hoped it'd be. GBO!!

Sorry to poop on your waffles but I don't see how this picture "strengthens" the my confidence in Butch being the right guy. And no it will not be fun watching our WRs.
This pic is proof that CBJ gets it. Now if you can find a pic of him in a sleevless shirt staring out at a body of water it'll prove that he wants it.

Why would he want to put his arm around Dooley? Tell me again.

I curse you, GlockVol!!!!!!!!!!!!! because of you, I'm assaulted. I leaned forward to get a better look at your avatar and lingered. My Shirley came in unseen, leaned over my shoulder and gave me a solid smack in the back of my head. Said she's just as big and shapely at that "beetch" and whopped me again, I curse you, GlockVol!!

Don't see a 1000 word pic. A coach & a player with their arm on each others shoulder from a distance. It's not like they are huggin cheek to cheek

Besides giving Butch tanning advice the pic actually shows friendship body language. You will see people do this in situations like, "Word, coach, we ain't letting you down in games. We believe we can win now."

And you would of had to pick up the phone and call Dooley to make an see if you could go see him. I hate it for all the players who came to play for Tennessee and had to put up with Kiffin and Dooley as coaches. Too bad they had to go through all that crap. :hi:

Sorry Woodsman Vol that u got assaulted by your beloved Shirley, but just like in football, this is a situation to learn from. After 32 years of marriage, I've learned to always have an explanation (lie) ready to cover my transgressions. Suggested come back, "but dear I was trying to see whose car you were lying under."
