which has what to do with what's happening in the US? Do you think they've ever built a church or synagogue in another country? Are you against that as well?

No i dont. That was the whole point of the first amendment. There is not supposed to be a state sponsored religion but yet they are sponsoring it. A minute ago you questioned whether they were building mosques now you have changed your tune.

seperation.church.state....?? whats the discussion here, "the majority of people want to do it so lets do it"? Nothing against praying but people that pray aren't the only people in the world, or even in a small county in Tennessee. BTW No body is keeping people from praying, you just can't sanction it as a public event at a public institution.

The words "separation of church and state" do not show up anywhere in the first amendment. That is a fine print interpretation used by progressives to try to eliminate the practice of religion in public places. By having a prayer over a loud speaker at a high school football game, the state is neither establishing an official religion nor is it denying anyone the right for them to practice their own religion. This is an issue where the offended party has no grounds to be offended based on the constitution.

No problem. Just immense confusion. What mosques are these that the govn't is building?

Why dont you look it up. Your ignorance is not my problem. You look like a fool when you get on here and condone the government stopping a simple prayer to start a football game when you dont even know what else is going on. A prayer is a choice if you dont want to pray, dont. Its absolutely pathetic that the government is ignoring the will of the people for some left wing activist organization out of wisconsin. You liberals have no problem with the government promoting religion as long as it isnt christianity or judaism.

lol I always find this funny. I go to church, but I don't see why this is always made into such a big deal. If you want to pray before the game do it. How many of these people would be throwing a fit if a few Muslim families wanted to read a Muslim pray over the loud system. That is the reason there is seperation of church and state.

I would only throw a fit if they flew jumbo jets into the stadium afterwards.

Posted via VolNation Mobile[/QU and this is what you call a concession of ignorance

I think the word you're looking for is admission...admission. A concession is something all together different. Perhaps you meant a concession TO ignorance? You cannot concede OF something. But thanks for trying.

actually its perfectly correct. You are conceding to me and everyone else of your ignorance by changing the subject as you continue to do.
