A sign of the times...

Hey guys, you know what real apathy is? Doing something else with your time. Spending two hours watching a game and then another hour hunched over a computer typing about how little you cared about it is not apathy.

I was actually at the game sitting behind our goal. We got robbed as we definitely got fouled at the end of the game but didn't get the call. It was obvious to everyone in the stadium. The VOLS fought back.

Having said that, I'm sick of Martin. His teams continually underachieve. Let's bring back Pearl!!!

There's a difference between supporting a coach and letting a season play out to the end.

If you think anyone is ecstatic with where we are you're mistaken.
I was all for letting the season play out and that was my original plan...but what's the point anymore. I know you are disappointed from what you have seen. Even if we do make the tourney it will be a 8 or 9 seed. Maybe I was dumb for thinking we would get a 4-6 seed this year. But I thought we were a top 25 team this year, not a bubble team. I mean I've agreed with you more times than not, but when is enough for you BTO? I mean, I know waiting until the end of the season is the most reasonable thing, but you can't still be optimistic with where our program is going after seeing us crap the bed this year and this was suppose to be our year.

Just makes me sick. This was supposed to be a great year.....lots of talent. Whatever. I really hoped Cuonzo was the guy for the job. Great character....great story...but it just isn't happening. I miss the excitement that Bruce brought. I know he isn't coming back.....but there just isn't any excitement. Wins could cure that....but there are too few. They will probably give him another year. But this is so similar to Dooley i am afraid.

Just imagine what it's going to look like next year, especially if CCM is retained.

So did I! This team on PAPER is a top 20 team...top 20!! This is sickening and it needs to stop. For the love of god, cut your losses and move on!

This is me exactly. I wanted nothing more than to see him succeed. Defended him for 2 and a half years, gave him a chance because he is such a good guy. But it's a business and I wish him the best somewhere else.

Me too. I really hope he does well in life and coaching. It just isn't working out here and it is a shame.

Anger comes before apathy and this is a place where frustrations are penned. If you don't think apathy is setting in, see what the crowds start to look like.

We just lost to a team we should have beat ONCE AGAIN and this time no one cares. Where are all the threads from pissed off fans and cliff jumpers? Looks like even those guy just stopped caring. There is literally not a single new thread since the game ended and that is sad

We need a change VN

Did the men play today?

I didn't watch it and only came on here for a few. A little apathy?! I'll do something else for awhile to qualify fully!

Oh, I'm not saying that apathy isn't setting in in general. I'm just saying that it's amusing how every time we lose, a dozen guys who just spent two hours yelling in the game thread then say that they're apathetic and don't care anymore.

Martin can't coach and his assistants seem like nothing more than cheerleaders. This may just be the worst staff in the SEC.

Got to know how to read BTO.
He ain't no more enamored with Martin than we are.
He just ain't one to boo hoo every game.

I get it. But I also know that some people are like me while watching a game and really aren't into it. Its boring, hard to watch, not entertaining, unemotional, losing basketball. Its a waste of two hours, too often.

Ofcourse, that is what makes them a vols fan.

NO excuse to have lost that game to a 7 man Vandy team. I want him gone. We won't win 10 games next year if he sticks around. The players didn't come to play tonight, which is par for the course.

I think everyone is gun shy.
If you come on here hating, then we'll go out and beat Syracuse and Arizona by 20 each the next week.
If you defend Cuonzo, then we'll get beat down by Dean Gilberry College and Northeastern Rhode Island Tech the next week.
Everyone's skeered IMO.

Because it's pointless. All the Martin lovers give excuses. Bottom line he's a decent recruiter but a terrible horrible coach.

have you seen next seasons recruits ? # 46 behind Vanderbilt -- get rid of him now while there are still some decent players left to recruit
