A top assistant hire is 5 times more likely to win a NC than a coach w/o multiple 9 win seasons.

A HC with multiple 9 win seasons is 9 times more likely to win a NC than one without.

Out of the schools who lost the BCS championship game, only Frank Beamer failed to have prior multiple 9 win seasons nor was an assistant directly to HC.

I really like the Bronco Mendenhall idea, but I suspect he won't even be talked to.

Strong is probably going to win 9 games again in 2013 if he stays in Louisville. He was a top assistant in a NC program under Meyer. The only reason he didn't have 9 win seasons right away was that he had to clean up a dumpster fire left by Kragthorpe.

We play in the SEC, 9 wins at Louisville does not equal success in this league.

Bill Snyder retired he wasn't fired like fulmer was so try again.

Yes he retired after going 4–7 and 5–6 in 2004 and 2005. They had much more class and allowed him to go out on his terms. Then they were smart enough to get him out of retirement and bring him back. And by the way he's 72. I have a lot of respect for him as a coach.
