A View from Big Ben: Clemson Grades

What I really liked is that the team got stronger as the game wore on.

One more quarter and we would have put up 28 more points and Clemson would continue to struggle offensively.
This! While the Tigers had 100 plays (as we were continually reminded by the announcers), the tired team at the end was Clemson, both offensively and defensively. Tigers’ QB was in desperate need of a week’s stay at the Greenbriar, with massages prepaid.

Just learning to turn and look for the ball will eliminate some PI’s.

That's been our bane since the Butch era. I'm sure if it is willful ignoring coach, or they're not being coached to look for the ball. Perhaps, only their ophthalmologist knows for sure.

Therefore at TEACHER. What I am asking for is a teacher of the small things that together create BIG things. I know you say that's what we are paying the coaches to do. Well look at (here again) Bama and a few others. Just what the hell do all those people running around their practices doing? I say they are teaching the "small stuff". Maybe like general education short falls in subjects like reading math, etc. that require "remedial" study, the same is needed for athletes.

We beat Clemson without two of our top wideouts. Can you imagine what the score would have been if they had both played? Sheesh. Dabo is lucky….
