ha ha ha i guess the cat is out of the bag

You know, I gritted my teeth and read the Mike Shula posts on the Tennessee board, all 50 of them. Now I come over here, and more mindless drivel.

I'm sending you on an all expense paid trip to Ignore Island. You will be in good company. If you act nice, maybe GSVol will write you a haiku.

heaven forbid a 17 year old kid change his mind about where he's going to spend the next four years of his life.

Especially after the debaucle that has been this football season. I cant blame any of them for leaving. I do think most will return if we get a coach like Davis.

you are being unrealistic

Maybe its wishful thinking to expect mature teenagers, but to give them a break on maturity when committing, then expect them to come into a stadium of 100,000 ppl and start D1 football as a true freshmen (like some think Boyd should) contradicts this logic. Its hypocritical.

playing ability and emotional maturity are two vastly different things

are they? you must have maturity to be effective. any sport requires maturity, no matter the skill level. many examples of this at every level.

Just another word for you guys, dont freak over this year's class no matter what happens. 2010 has the potential to be a monster year for us if we can manage to hire a decent coach.

I keep hearing there is more to the Jay Leno interest than most think. Anyway the plane did go to Raleigh, maybe it was a dual mission.

I agree. can u really blame a kid for changing his mind after what hes seen this year. u almost want to put the blame on the players who havent decommitted. why would you want to come here after this season. we have been gettin worse by the game on offense and defense. besides facilities and tradition, there is no draw to tennessee this year.

your missing the point, everyone that has decommitted has stated they have decommitted because fulmer was fired and thats why they came here in the first place. none of them have stated anything about the losing season!!

we are going to be just fine. we are in with enough guys that the new coach can reel them back in.
