Craft will essentially be replacing Tabb on the team.

By the same token, McRae will replace Prince, and Selby will replace Maze. So, we're doing pretty good so far. Barring an early departure, there is one scholly left for '10, and it needs to be a replacement for Chism. I doubt Bruce would turn away Joe Jackson though if he decided to surprise us with a commitment.

Pearl needs to keep recruiting Jackson hard. This kid is a stud. Him and selby at the backcourt at the same time would equal maybe more explosiveness than a backcourt has ever seen. With craft giving stability off the bench. Hall down low and possible Black alongside this could equal major championship run. However, first we have to get them all hear. Which is a lot easier said than done.

Selby has to be down because of the whole Dematha situation. Watch him play and tell me he doesn't have top 10 talent. If this is the reason they moved him down, it really is kind of dumb.

I know no one really "hates" him, but i've seen some threads that imply he couldn't cut in at UT. I'm glad we got this kid!

Anyway, he's now a 4 star recruit and well in the top 100 of 2010's recruitng class.

well if rivals says it in basketball, it must be wrong

...I hope he's as good as they're saying. Granted they said that about JP, Duke, Ramar, etc etc.

I'll believe talent on the court when I see it, and Pearl's evaluation has been spotty at best so far. I don't know if it's work ethic or attitude that's killing some of these guys right now, but the last few classes have had their struggles.

Don't get me wrong though, I want this kid to be a stud and help us out.

All three of Tennessee 2010 recruits are in the top 100 on Rivals. Craft is the rated player # 70.

Josh Shelby is # 15, Jordan McRae is #37 and Aaron Craft is # 70. I suspect BP will find us another center before this group hits the court.

Remind me where these recruiting geniuses had Marques Johnson and JP Prince ranked coming out of high school.

Yeah, rankings really helped Marques Johnson excel at UT. Look what a great point guard JP Prince has been. We better hope Craft doesn't just skip his senior year and joing Jeremy Tyler in Europe.

Selby is really immature and is going to be a problem at UT if Bruce doesn't curb it fast. He's another "Tennekey gangsta".
