ABC's "Happy Town"

It doesn't look like this show is going to last too long. Ratings have been bad and ABC is taking the show off air until after sweeps.

The shows I watch on ABC are dropping like flies; Lost will conclude, it doesn't look like FlashForward is coming back, V might get canned too, and now this.

i gues that's it for happy town then. oh well, it was kind of losing me after last week anyway. not surprising, though. abc seems to always have alot of the weaker shows on tv IMO.

I just read up on the show, apparently the Magic Man is to be revealed in the eighth and final episode. At least there could be a decent end to it.

This is how Twin Peaks was supposed to go - 8 episodes but it caught on and lasted 2 or 3 seasons.

Yea, not many show catch my attention in this way.


They (ABC) did the same thing last season with a show. They woke up in the last episode,out of hibernation after they arrived at some planet and it had all been a side effect of extended suspended hibernation. That cop show where the guy went back in time 25 years and he kept telling everybody he was from the future.

crap! just when I deleted the other episodes from my dvr and removed it from the prioritizer. oh well, will have to catch it online.

Last night was slow until the end. The fish thing looks interesting. Not sure how they are going to wrap it all up -- they keep expanding the weirdness.

I really hope this show gets saved somehow. It would be a lot easier for syfy to do this show than V or FF.

Looks like they are rushing alot of things in the show. What would take a whole season to explain in "Lost", takes 5 minutes in "Happy Town". Looks like they are sticking to their guns and ending this season.
