Do you think a fetus is a human?

Do you think abortion is murder?

If a 12 year old became pregnant after being raped by her step-father, would you be okay with her having an abortion?

also there are circumstances that seem to never be considered in this debate that parents are also presented with. When it happens nothing is truly black/white

Yes

No matter what, I'm probably not going to ban abortion for pragmatic reasons. It's illegal in Brazil, but that doesn't stop people from doing it, and there are negative consequences to prohibition.

lots of variables to this but I don't see it as murder. However if someone can see the ultrasound pics and still go through with it then that's something they have to live with. Hard to say it's not a human but it's not a viable life at that point

If a 22 year old became pregnant for the 4th time in 2 years and used abortion as birth control on all of them, are you okay with that as well?

You used one extreme, the 12 year old, you should include the other end as well.

I will say that I personally don't believe it's my responsibility to make choices for others. I know what I would do in the situation and that's good enough for me

I had a scare with the gf in August and I stood back and let her decide. Luckily she didn't turn out to be pregnant...but I'm not going to force a woman into anything.

Honestly, I don't really get the status quo on this. It's nice that you weren't going to force her into anything, but if the man is present, it's not just her choice. There are 3 people involved in an pregnancy/abortion, and only one of them gets a choice. Flawed, IMO, though I don't know of a better solution.

Admittedly, I go back and forth on this issue, because I think that there are so many variables in potential hypotheticals to make this one of the grayest issues. This article by Walter Block, though, is interesting because he proposes a compromise "third option" when abortion may be justified morally. I think it's a worthwhile read regardless of where you stand on the issue.

My wife is currently 25 weeks pregnant. We have seen 3D images and it is a fully developed child just growing bigger at this point. The baby has all organs, skin, hair, eyes, etc. It can smell, hear, etc. I would definitely consider abortion at this stage murder. I don't know what the cutoff should be, but my opinion would be closer to none after the first trimester.
