Needs to be constitutionally protected. It is a right to privacy, we had it right the first time. There is a health crisis happening in red states. But they have no one to blame but themselves.
Ok. Gun ownership isnt a privacy issue either. Therefore doesnt warrant constitutional protection. If abortion is a right to privacy issue then so is every other medical procedure and drug. It has not a damn thing to do with privacy and there is no need for a constitutional amendment protecting a medical procedure. States have always had the power to regulate the healthcare providers within their jurisdiction.

Its the right to choose what to do with one's body. Enforcing this as a 'all or nothing' will, just as it is. Force medical procedures to happen illegally, force women to lose their lives, or become gravely ill, or force the system to raise children who are mentally, physically, or incapable of helping themselves. Something which it isnt designed to do.
Its my hope that the over 50% of the population, of whom arent accurately represented by their Representatives, who are pro-choice will take that anger, resentment, and vitriol to the polls.
We saw it in Virginia two weeks ago. I think people are fed up with the 1%ers making decisions on their behalf, which doesnt align with their beliefs.
37 states can change it.But gun ownership has never been argued as a privacy right and from the jump was a constitutionally protected right.
Hey, just like with the second amendment, if you think the constitution needs amending to make abortion a protected right get to work on the amendment process. I can respect going that route the same as I would respect an effort by the gun grabbers if they went about it the right way.
As to your last point, it's apparent that people are not fed up with 1%ers making decisions on the behalf because they keep electing the same 1%ers every cycle whether they be R or D.
Oh my.Ok. Gun ownership isnt a privacy issue either. Therefore doesnt warrant constitutional protection.
Reaally, bad takes in the abortion section of the PF? I'm shocked.Oh my.
This might be one of the worst takes you ever took the time to type out and hit send on.
Of course gun ownership isn’t a privacy issue - it’s never been argued as such. For obvious (at least should be obvious) reasons….
Right to bear arms is actually enshrined in the Bill of Rights in the Constitution.
