ACORN Vegas Office Raided in Voter Fraud Investigation - FOXNews.com Elections

LAS VEGAS -- Nevada state authorities are raiding the Las Vegas headquarters of an organization that works to get low-income people to vote.
A Nevada secretary of state's office spokesman said Tuesday that investigators are looking for evidence of voter fraud at the office of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, also called ACORN.
No one was at the ACORN office when state agents arrived with a search warrant and began carting records and documents away.
Secretary of State spokesman Bob Walsh says ACORN is accused of submitting multiple voter registrations with false and duplicate names.
The raid comes two months after state and federal authorities formed a task force to pursue election-fraud allegations in Nevada.

it's typical. this is happening all over America. especially in swing states. i don't why people would want to support a party that has ties with groups like this.

That's an elaborate voter fraud scheme they got going there. On election day, they get a bunch of folks to impersonate Dallas Cowboy players with fake ID's. Seems like a really bad ROI.

I've noticed that most, if not all, of the Obama defenders on this board remain silent when it comes to his ties with ACORN. Not even LG can come up with a pithy response as to why the corruption of ACORN has nothing to do with Obama.

This has the potential to be far more devastating to his candidacy than Ayers, Wright and Raines combined and it's little wonder why the Obam-unists in the media remain silent.

Rev Wright is the only thing that has potential to stick. Forget about Ayers and ACORN and Rezko and everything else. They are mere distractions. He should hit him on Wright if he wants to win.

as sensitive as America is to the "stolen election" meme, I would think that ACORN's overt efforts to steal this election for Obama should be made front page, above the fold stories in every major US newspaper.

Problem is: there is nothing that shows an overt effort by ACORN to steal this election. Just as there was nothing to show an overt effort by Bush to steal the election last time. The arguments are shrill on both sides.

busing people into Ohio so they can take advantage of the "instant voting" fiasco that state recently implemented?

thousands of fraudulent voter registrations found in the recently raided Las Vegas office.

So the Obama campaign or some subsidiary is busing in thousands of people from OUT OF STATE to vote in Ohio. That is major news and should absolutely sink Obama. Have there been any arrests? Why hasn't the McCain campaign at least held a press conference on this? This is huge news. Thousands of ineligible voters being bussed in from other states to cast illegal votes for Barack Obama. Hard to imagine a scenario where this would not be front page news? How about a link?

OE, you start like 6,000 threads a day. I can't go through all of them. I'm not the one making accusations so I don't need to back them up. If it's such a huge issue for you guys, then you should be willing to show your work... btw, I have to go soon so there's no rush... I have a feeling this "issue" isn't going away.
