Acting like Kiffin never existed

Few have a problem with well-reasoned dislike of Kiffin. It's the guys that say we'd have been on probation for sure, had to vacate the '98 title, were doing terrible on the recruiting trail, and that any other coach would have won 10 games in 2009, etc. that are the focus of the OP.

Exactly.

I've never defended the man's character. I've never once said he's not a lying POS.

However, the man can recruit and he did a great job with Crompton, the OL and Hardesty.

Fair enough. There are crazies on both sides I suppose. I just can't wait for the season to start. I just finished my fluid mechanics final. Now it is time for the Fall semester and some UT foosball. Something about Dooley's former school reminds me of The Waterboy.

I wish he never existed. I wish last year never happened. I wish we never made the horrible decision to hire him (which I absolutely detested from day one - I just had a horrible gut feeling about him from the day he arrived).

But what happened happened. All we can do is look ahead.

Im not sure he was the major factor in Crompton or Hardesty. I put that on themselves and the position coaches.

True he dumded it down for Jonathon, and he excelled in it. Doesnt make Kif a genious though.
