Nikes give me shin splints and even hairline fractures in my feet when I run in them. True story.

Nike's always seemed to run narrow. Right now, I wear anywhere from a 10.5-11.5 depending on the brand and style

Right now I do my long distance running in Brooks, trail runs in a pair of Mizunos and I do some sprints and short runs in minimalist shoes. Basketball I've worn Adidas and Nikes, don't really tell a difference. Mizuno baseball cleats. I've always had weak ankles and I've rolled and/or sprained both of them in everything but my minimalists.

Damn, weak ankles and weak wrists? That must be tough :)

if you asked 4 people that have worn Adidas when competing at the hs, college or pro level, 3 of them will have had a pretty bad lower leg injury.

Interesting. My high school was sponsored by Adidas so all athletes wore them. Never saw a bad lower leg injury in football or basketball in 4 years.

The worst lower leg injury I ever had was in Nike's.

I have a friend with tiny ankles & I kid him that if he breaks one we'll have to put him down.

Soccer. That's why the cleats for football players suck. They are soccer people. And soccer people suck at basketball worse than any other sport because they don't know how to use their hands.

Yeah I know it's originally for soccer...I was referencing the Korn song...
