THIS is spot on but would add that the play calling lacks continuity. We call a good first half and forget how we go there in the second half. I continue to preach that our BEST offensive weapon is moving the chains w short passes (that usually gain 3-5 yards) along with runs by our amazing backs. Incompletions are our Kryptonite, yet our play caller/s INSIST far too often to attempt routes that have a high % of incompletions.

Call plays to our strengths, not weaknesses. Just drives me bat*hit crazy.
I feel like when Joe Slows down hes worse. I feel like hes been better when we actually go at blazing speed.

Go back and look at the game.In the second half Bama did what Florida did the entire game, they did pre snap motion before almost every play. Our defensive is good when they know their assignments which is easy if the players don’t scramble the assignments with motion pre play.

after hearing Herring, I'm pretty sure our players just checked out after thinking they were going to win. It feels more like we lost the game rather than Alabama beating us

3 plays killed us, the bogus fair catch call and going for it on 4th down at mid field. if we at least punt, they have 2 long drives to score. i think we would held them, our defense was playing great.

bama did it the 1st half too. 1st thing i thought of was the florida game when they did all pre-snap motion. we did an excellence job. it seems we played more zone and they were connecting passes quite consistent.
