Where is Milo to tell us that it is not his fault? He is not responsible for any of his choices that lead to him being in this position. He is not on SS because he wants to be.

Actually, most SS recipients have paid something into the system unlike your parasitic welfare mothers.

This. Guy. Is. Ridiculous.

It's this type of story that ruins any good social safety net programs provide. I am not a proponent of totally scrapping these, BUT I am 100% convinced that an in depth overhaul is in dire need. I would like to see a return of workfare a la CCC or WPA for people to get any form of welfare/food stamps. At least the individuals wouldn't be simply holding their hand out and getting it filled.

Some people have no dignity and pride. Astounding.

I have no doubt that the social security fund will be long empty when my generation is ready to collect... Crap like this makes me want to run for office just so I can write legislation to close whatever loophole they are using.

I don't know. Is the percentage of people who aren't trying to improve their situation high enough to justify the removing the system? I think a lot of people believe the percentage of useless freeloaders among welfare recipients is much higher then it actually is.
