Advice for son's first Tennessee game

One factor that I have seen no reference to thus far is, ahem, a child's bladder retention. I remember one game in which a mother, seated in a location far removed from the aisle, had to make one trip after another . . . after another . . . after another to the bathroom with her child. .

Good point... We are on an aisle.

I don't remember too many trips for ours, but
I do know of LOTS & LOTS of trips made by a couple of girls that cared and knew a lot less about the game than my 2 & 4 year olds did.

I got to take my three year old son to two games this year. It is funny he was just watching some videos I took if him in my phone before I found this thread.

I started out by taking to a couple of Dobyns Bennett games. He did so great and was actually the last person off the field both nights. Im sure the grounds crew were upset while he drug the pile ons around!

At Neyland both games couldnt have went any better. From the people who checked bags to the ushers to fans helping me take pictures it was a great experience. It is one I will remeber more than my first time...I was 8.

I recommend to let it be determined when you go by the kid. Mine literally sat on the edge of his seat for three and half quarters each game. I also recommend to take anything with you that is going to make it a great time for the child. I was amazed at how nice and understanding the people who checked the bags were about this as I brought his favorite candy and stuff like that.

I would wait until five or six years old. Orange and White games are good tests.
