The Down Town Grill and Brewery is also pretty good and worth checking out. If you want a burger consider Copper Cellar as well. I think the Goal Post Tavern has good game day atmosphere too. Obviously Calhouns on the river... Lotta options.

Ali babas is west on Kingston.
A great late night sandwich.

I hate to tell you this, but Ali Baba's closed down earlier t his year. I enjoyed their sandwiches for over 30 years.

Holy Land Market and Deli is amazing if you have a taste for adventure. They are almost always cooking up something interesting.

Spend the extra $ and Stay downtown at the Hampton Inn, Hilton Hotel, Holiday Inn or Renaissance. Visit Market Square, lots of restaurants with Tupelo Honey Cafe one of the best. All hotels in downtown Knoxville are within walking distance to Neyland Stadium. You want get a parking place any closer.

Greetings Vols fans. I am planning on traveling to Knoxville to see what is rumored to be one of the finest CFB environments you can find in the nation. I had a couple of questions about the game/logistics and Knoxville in general for the Utah State game.

1. What are restaurants a man can't miss eating at if in Knoxville
2. Any Hotel recommendations? Obviously I'd like to be close to the stadium, but those are all 150 + a night
3. Parking- planning on arriving early afernoon- 2 PM or so with my trusty rental car, where should I park?

I imagine everything will be quite packed, what with 100 k + fans trying to get into the game tailgating. Any general pointers would be appreciated.

As you can see, Knoxville has a lot to offer from the posts in this thread. You can't go wrong. Everyone has different tastes and opinions of places that are a must. If you hit most that have been posted, you'll enjoy. Are you actually in SLC or Logan? Just askin' because most, I thought, around SLC are BYU or Ute fans.
