Advice on selling a boat

It's a sweet looking boat, shouldn't have trouble moving it in Knoxville at that price. I've only sold one boat and that was because a guy asked if I was interested in selling.

I thought about cruising it down to the Navy with a "For Sale" sign. Maybe one of the high rollers will get limbered up and offer me cash to use it as a runabout.

Beautiful boat.

Just wish I was in the market...

Maybe next spring. Sigh.

( it would straight up drive all these hog fans nuts!)

I sold my houseboat last month and we ended up using a broker. It sold really fast but the new owner just happened to walk by and see it. So we ended up just paying the broker for the photos. What marina is the boat located and are you close by where you can show it easily?

What broker did you use?

Nice looking boat! If your insurance is paid up, take it out to the middle of the lake (make sure the gas and oil are drained) and sink it!

Never ..... Ever.......I say never ever buy one to begin with.

It has been a lot of fun over the years. I wouldn't say I regret the purchase at all. Nothing better on gameday than coasting into the Vol Navy by water in an orange and white boat.

Just kidding. I have only owned one and I had some wiring issues so Isold it. I would not say I don't want one. I just don't think I would use it enough to justify it. But I also live 40 miles from Kentucky Lake and about 25 from Cheatham so I could not decide on the fly to take the boat out.

If I lived that far off the water I doubt we'd have a boat either. Way to far to haul that sucker after a few. We live 1.5 miles from a boat ramp on Old Hickory, so out almost every weekend and some during the week.

Awesome. I had an older tri hull that I traded for. It ran great for 2 weeks even after I bought a set of muffs to work on the engine out of the water. But it started to have carb issues which I was ready to handle till I noticed the bare wires under the cowling. I put the thing up for sale as is. Sold it and made $200 even without it running.

My Inlaws have a pontoon and we have been debating getting a deck boat ( pontoon for pleasure and sunbathing and the deck boat for some tubing). But we have not acted on it and we won't be for a while now that our house is up on the market. My kids, 4 of them all under the age of 9, love the water. If I could afford a summer slip, I would consider it but I just can't right now.

I also agree with the op by floating his up to the navy on opening game night . I don't think it would last long.

Sold already, on West Knoxville Trading, of all places! Seems like she's going to a good home, which makes me feel better about letting her go.

Nice - I know the feeling. A guy down the street bought a car I had for a long time and loved but never used. It's nice to know it went to an enthusiast and I get to see it frequently. Weird I know but makes me feel better about getting rid of it.
