the argument was exactly the opposite. They are arguing that the two are moral equals, so outlawing infanticide is as absurd as outlawing abortion.

I read the article - figured I should before I posted it; crazy I know - and agree with the above interpretation. At no point did I see them presenting a pro-life argument. The quotes PJ included bear that out; they distinguish clearly between life (being a human being) and being a "person" with the assumption only "persons" have rights.

The crazy part too is that you only have those rights if you would be aware that you were being deprived them or suffer some loss (you perceive) if so deprived. This logic says any human that is not cognitively aware is not a person and thus can be terminated.

Maybe it's a thought/hypothetical piece but if these guys believe this I sure as hell don't want them in or influencing any administrative position.
