Yes. After Rivals factors in our JuCo players we'll be top 10. That happens tomorrow.

Oh yes. 3-4* guys and 1-3* will be added to tomorrows rankings. I dont see how we dont jump at least a couple spots.

The only non-juco player that has not been added on rivals so far is Meline. Everyone else has been added.

Earlier they had yet to add in some Juco players. They had their stars but team rankings had not been updated

It looks like Meline has been added now, but LAJBoys is right, they have graded the players, but not factored the grades into the team rankings. If you look at the current team rankings it says we have 6 Four Star players and 8 Three Stars. However, if you click on the Tennessee team link, we actually know have 9 Four Star players and 9 Three Stars.

I guess the new commits (Bray, Meline) and updated star rankings (JC Players and Palardy?) will be factored in tomorrow.

Well earlier when I checked it Rivals had Bray added to the list, but it had not changed our ranking. Then I checked back later and we had jumped from 18 to 12, so I am assuming that had come from adding Bray.

I'm not a recruiting buff by anymeans but do we have any 5* recruits commited? If not do we have any prospects that still might commit?

All right here's the deal on Rivals. We were at 12 last night and are at 11 this morning, but something just didn't add up. We should have made a bigger jump than one position with the addition of Bray, Meline, and the JuCo talent. I did some digging via their individual position team rankings links, and I figured out that they do not/have not yet included JuCo players in the team rankings. While we actually have 18 commits (even by Rivals reckoning) they are only counting 15 (all except the three CC players we have committed in Harris, Brown, and Irvin) in figuring the team rankings. If you look for example at the DT category, we are tied for 26 with only one 3* players (Broussard), even though we have 2 DT from CC ( one 4* and one 3*). So by my reckoning, Rivals, when they do add JuCo players, will need to add one 4* and two 3* players to our ranking.

This may not be late breaking news to anybody on here, but I thought it was interesting to see the team rankings based on one position.

I noticed the fact that 4 players are from Miami and Eddie Gran is planting an orange boot in Herban's nads! Especially when you throw in Nuke and Teague.

The cool thing is no matter where we rank I feel like for the first time in a long time we have a staff that is going to develop every player to their full potential.

It was said long ago and i think for the most part its true. There isn't much difference between the top 1-15 classes. Maybe a couple players here and there make one or two classes stand out, but for the most part those classes are the pick of the litter. We're going to be fine and in a couple of years we'll be on equal footing with just about anyone in the country.

well, not exactly...

Meline didn't have an offer from UF (or FSU or the U for that matter)

of the Miami kids, I think only Delvin Jones had an offer from UF...and maybe Jose Jose

Jones and Jose did.

Ralph Williams had an FSU offer.

Meline had Georgia and Alabama offers. The big 3 would have offered him if he grades weren't a big question.

He's an elite athlete.
